- The Focal Alpha 50 Evo is a professional nearfield studio monitor designed for mixing and post-production, featuring Class-D bi-amplification for neutral and dynamic sound across a 45 Hz–22 kHz frequency range with consistent performance at any volume and within the listening position, a Slatefiber woofer made from recycled carbon fibers and manufactured in France for excellent rigidity, damping, and balanced reproduction, an inverted aluminium dome tweeter for wide dispersion, low directivity, and a stable soundstage, along with TRS, XLR, and RCA inputs, adjustable LF/HF room EQ filters, automatic standby, and built-in mounting inserts for wall, ceiling, or stand installation, making it suitable for stereo and multi-speaker setups.
Slatefiber Woofer Technology
Exclusive to Focal and made in France, the Slatefiber cone uses recycled carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymer for rigid, lightweight, and balanced sound.
Inverted Aluminium Dome
A Focal signature since 1981, the inverted aluminium dome tweeter delivers wide spatial dispersion, low directivity, and a stable soundstage with a horizontal frequency deviation of just ±0.5 dB.
Class-D Bi-Amplification
Driven by 60W of Class-D bi-amplification, with 35W for lows and mid frequencies and 25W for highs, the Alpha 50 Evo delivers precise signal control and high sound levels without distortion.
Mounting & Connectivity
