The ASP880 features eight Class-A preamps, designed by David Dearden, offering clear, transparent sound with warmth and depth. These preamps are optimized for professional recordings, delivering studio-quality performance for a variety of instruments and vocals.
Burr Brown A/D Conversion
Equipped with Burr Brown A/D converters, the ASP880 ensures high-quality, transparent audio capture. Known for their clarity and natural sound, these converters preserve every detail of your recording with an impressive dynamic range of 118 dB.
Flexible Inputs and Analog Insert
The unit offers eight XLR/TRS combo inputs and two front-panel JFET DI inputs for versatile recording options. It also includes analog insert points, allowing you to integrate external processors between the preamps and A/D converter for customized sound.
Advanced Control and Connectivity
Each channel has selectable phantom power, pad, polarity reverse, and high-pass filter for precise control. The rear panel offers ADAT, AES, and S/PDIF digital outputs, plus a word-clock input for easy synchronization, making the ASP880 ideal for any professional studio setup.
