The DDJ-REV1 is a seamless companion for the complimentary Serato DJ Lite software. It showcases a fresh battle-style layout that’s user-friendly and ideal for performing at a professional level. This 2-channel DJ controller is designed to mirror the setup of a professional DJM-S mixer and PLX turntable, complete with tailored functionalities catering to open-format and scratch DJs.
Brand-new battle-style layout
Explore hands-on control with a setup mirroring 2 x PLX turntables and a DJM-S series mixer, favored by battle DJs. The DDJ-REV1 offers a spacious layout, with longer 60mm tempo sliders and integrated Performance Pads for intuitive mixing, effects, and scratching.
Bigger jog wheels
The bigger the jog wheels, the better for scratching. The jogs on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as the ones on the DDJ-SR2, a popular controller that’s higher up in our range.
Lever FX
Dynamically add texture to the music with Lever FX. Pull the levers down and hold them to apply effects from Serato DJ Lite in short bursts or push them up to lock on effects and free up your hands for scratching or track browsing.
Tracking Scratch: Get a helping hand with scratching
The Tracking Scratch feature automatically returns the music to the cue point when you move the jog wheel from backward to forward or lift your hand. This saves you from manually adjusting the fader and finding the right starting point for your scratch. To use it, select Tracking Scratch Pad mode, pick a Scratch Crossfader Cuts pattern with a Performance Pad, and start moving the jog.
Mixed microphone audio: Easily add your voice while you’re streaming
In a first for Pioneer DJ controllers at this level, the master audio output now blends with the microphone input, eliminating the need for external equipment like a soundcard or separate mixer to incorporate speech or vocals into your performance. All sounds are routed to Serato DJ Lite, enabling easy streaming from there.
Serato DJ Lite integration: Enjoy full use of the free software
Once you've downloaded Serato DJ Lite on your PC/Mac for free, connect the DDJ-REV1 using the provided USB cable, and you're ready to DJ. Manipulate software features and effects through the controller's buttons, knobs, faders, and jog wheels for tactile control. Using the Scratch Bank pad mode, instantly load scratch samples from the 4 assigned banks in Serato DJ Lite or Pro by tapping the dedicated Scratch Bank button.
