Description
The Focal Shape 65 is a compact active 2-way nearfield studio monitor designed for accurate and transparent sound reproduction in professional and project studios. It features a 6.5″ flax-sandwich cone woofer and a 1″ aluminum/magnesium inverted dome (M-profile) tweeter, with a frequency response of 40 Hz to 35 kHz (±3 dB) and a maximum SPL of 109 dB. Its sealed MDF cabinet uses dual 6.5″ passive radiators for extended low-frequency response and controlled bass, allowing flexible placement close to walls. It is powered by Class-AB amplification (80W LF / 25W HF) and includes adjustable low, mid, and high-frequency EQ controls plus a selectable high-pass filter (45 / 60 / 90 Hz).
