The OM 5E cartridge provides versatility with interchangeable styli, allowing users to customize their cartridge for different audio systems and preferences. With options like the 3E, 5E, 10, 20, 30, 40, 78b, and D 25 M, users can easily upgrade sound reproduction without replacing the entire cartridge, enhancing their listening experience effortlessly.
Precision Weight Adjustment
The OM 5E cartridge by Ortofon features a removable weight-plate ingeniously tucked into the top of the mounting bracket. This allows for precise adjustment of the cartridge's mass to match different tonearm types. With a standard tonearm, leave the weight-plate intact, while for low mass tonearms, simply remove it, resulting in a mere 2.5g mass for optimal performance.
