Description

  • Take control of your vinyl experience with the AT-LPW30 Manual Two-Speed Turntable from Audio-Technica. The straight aluminum tonearm can be fully adjusted and customized to ensure that your 33 1/3 & 45 rpm records sound their best. Adjustment includes counterweight, tracking force, and anti-skate to maximize audio fidelity, and while the tonearm comes equipped with its own cartridge & stylus, you can swap them out if needed. Everything rests on a sleek MDF plinth covered in a stylish teak wood veneer, and is powered by a belt drive motor. Thanks to a selectable phono preamp, you can output your music to a receiver or directly to a pair of active speakers..

Customizable

The tonearm comes equipped with an AT-HS4 universal 1/2"-mount headshell, AT-VM95C dual moving magnet cartridge, and diamond-tipped 0.6 mil conical stylus. This default setup is capable of dynamic and clear audio from either 33 1/3 or 45 rpm records. If you'd like a different setup, you can always swap out the stylus or cartridge. The included cartridge supports any optional VM95 series stylus.

Built-In Phono Preamp

With an integrated phono preamp, you can connect this turntable directly to a pair of active speakers or other audio component via the included RCA audio cable. The preamp is switchable between phone and line, so you can use the built-in preamp or the one in your existing receiver

Belt Drive Motor

Without being mounted directly under the platter, as with direct drive motors, the two-speed belt drive of the AT-LPW30 helps to reduce vibration from being picked up by the stylus. To help ensure record speed is accurately maintained, the motor is equipped with a speed sensor.

Anti-resonance

Anti-resonance, often referred to as resonance control or resonance damping, is a concept employed in various fields of engineering and physics to mitigate, suppress, or counteract the effects of resonance in systems. Resonance is a phenomenon where a system naturally vibrates or oscillates at its own inherent frequency when subjected to external forces or excitations..

Fully automatic belt-drive operation with 33 1/3 and 45 rpm speeds
