The Joystick enables pitch bend, modulation, and MIDI CC messages, offering versatile performance capabilities. Portable Velocity-Sensitive Mini Keys
The Impact GX Mini features a compact design with 25 velocity-sensitive mini keys. Despite their small size, these keys offer expressive and firm playability, allowing you to capture your musical ideas on-the-go with precision and control.
Joystick Modulation and MIDI Control
With its integrated Joystick, this mini controller allows for pitch bend, modulation, and real-time MIDI message control. The left/right axis manages pitch, while the up/down axis handles modulation and foot controller assignments, offering versatile performance capabilities.
Nektar DAW Integration and Dedicated Control Buttons
Eight dedicated buttons above the Joystick provide direct control over essential functions in various DAWs. Compatible with popular software like Ableton Live, Logic, Cubase, FL Studio, and more, this integration streamlines workflow, offering transport control, track navigation, and MIDI assignments. The buttons are also MIDI assignable for use with unsupported software, ensuring versatile compatibility.
Part 2 Function for Instant Octave Shifts and Layering
The unique "Part 2" feature enables immediate octave shifts, momentary transposing, layering additional octaves, or switching to different MIDI channels while playing. Upon release, the GX Mini reverts to its original settings, allowing seamless transitions without interrupting ongoing notes—a fantastic feature for live performances.
