The transport section combines Play, Record and navigation controls with a multifunction browsing dial that accelerates sampling, editing and project movement. Focus Control lets you adjust plug-in parameters simply by hovering your mouse over them—no mapping or setup required. Paired with an OLED display and four touch-sensitive encoders, SLAB keeps essential information visible, letting you stay creative without digging through menus.
Expressive Pads and Performance Controls
Built to respond like an instrument, SLAB features 16 multicolor pads with velocity and aftertouch sensitivity, plus four instant pad modes for sampling, sequencing and performance. Pad FX mode assigns up to four simultaneous effects, allowing transitions and textures to be played directly on the pads. The 130 mm RGB touch strip adds expressive control over filters, pitch, effects, timing and more. With the pads and editing controls vertically aligned, chopping, sequencing and manipulating stems feels intuitive and musical.
Stem Control and Expanded Integration
SLAB introduces dedicated Stems Level control with four touch-sensitive encoders for vocals, melody, drums and bass inside Serato Studio, Serato Sample and Serato DJ Pro. This native integration allows detailed isolation, balancing and creative stem transitions without MIDI mapping. Whether remixing, arranging or performing live, stem-based control feels as immediate as adjusting EQ on a mixer, opening new performance techniques that blend DJ and production workflows.
