- The BOSS AW-3 Dynamic Wah is a versatile compact pedal that delivers classic auto-wah, dynamic wah, and expressive Humanizer effects that mimic human vowel sounds. Featuring five modes—Up, Down, Sharp, Humanizer, and Tempo—it offers a wide range of funky, rhythmic, and vocal-style tones, with dynamic response controlled by picking strength. A dedicated Bass input provides optimized wah effects for bass guitar, while the EXP/CTL input allows connection of an optional expression pedal or footswitch for hands-on wah and tempo control. Built in BOSS’s rugged metal housing, the AW-3 supports 9V battery or optional AC power and features buffered bypass for reliable signal performance.
