Equipped with two high-performance microphone preamps, the Duet 3 offers up to 65 dB of gain and phantom power. This allows for robust amplification of various microphones, including low-output ribbons and dynamic models like the Shure SM7B, as well as direct connections from instruments.
Built-In Hardware DSP
The internal hardware DSP enables the use of Apogee’s Symphony ECS Channel Strip plug-in without overloading your computer or iOS device. This advanced feature provides professional-grade signal processing, including EQ, compression, and analog saturation, with zero latency during recording.
Comprehensive Connectivity
The Duet 3 features a versatile array of connections, including two balanced 1/4" TRS line/monitor outputs, a stereo 3.5mm headphone output, and multiple inputs for microphones, instruments, and line-level signals. It supports simultaneous monitoring through speakers and headphones, with independently addressable outputs.
Robust and Portable Design
The interface is housed in a sleek, low-profile enclosure with an aluminum base and a Gorilla Glass top, ensuring both durability and an attractive look. It includes USB-C connectivity for high-speed data transfer and is compatible with macOS, iOS, and Windows 10. A foam-lined hard case is also provided for secure and convenient travel.
