The plugin provides detailed visual feedback, advanced stereo features, and supports MIDI and automation for sophisticated side-chaining. Version 2.21 adds Apple Silicon support for AAX Plug-in Format and various performance improvements.

Blue Cat's MB-5 Dynamix offers a comprehensive suite of dynamics processing tools, including compression, gating, limiting, expanding, and waveshaping, all in a single plugin. Users can apply these effects individually or combine them seamlessly across up to five frequency bands.

Advanced Side-Chaining Features

MB-5 Dynamix offers advanced side-chaining capabilities, making it easy to perform multiband side-chain compression, ducking, gating, and more. With MIDI and automation output support, users can control other plugins using the output of the dynamics processing stage, facilitating complex signal-dependent effects.

Unique Envelope Routing Capability

With MB-5 Dynamix's innovative envelope detection capabilities, users can create dynamic interactions between different frequency bands. This internal side-chain functionality enables one band to trigger dynamic responses in others, allowing for intricate cross-band dynamics effects.
