  • The Apogee Opto-3A, a vintage compressor and limiter plugin, is a key component of the Apogee FX Rack suite. It seamlessly integrates into macOS DAWs without the need for Apogee hardware, while also offering DualPath™ functionality for utilization on Apogee Hardware DSP in Element Series and Ensemble Thunderbolt audio interfaces. With its optical compressor/limiter design, extended HF emphasis capability, and sidechain HP filter, the Opto-3A faithfully reproduces the reactive compression characteristics of modeled hardware. It also features Dry/FX Mix controls, ensuring optimal blending of processed and unprocessed signals.
