In 2019, we embarked on a bold idea: to unite five industry-leading DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) under one roof – FL Studio, Studio One, ProTolls, Cubase and Ableton Live. Our vision was clear – to provide a comprehensive platform for comparing these powerful tools in a single day. Each DAW would be showcased by a specialist or brand representative, ensuring thorough representation and insight.

Thus, DAW Fest was born, drawing Music Producers from every corner of the country. It was an event that resonated with the industry, sparking excitement and igniting creativity.

However, as fate would have it, 2020 arrived with its unforeseen challenges. Despite our initial plans of organizing a yearly DAW Fest, the global landscape shifted, putting our aspirations on hold.

Fast forward to 2024, and DAW Fest had undergone a remarkable evolution. Two years in the making, it emerged stronger and more ambitious than ever before. Teaming up with esteemed partners such as NMK, Mediacast, Triangle Square, Melody House, Advanced Media, Venuetech, and Thomsun, DAW Fest expanded into a larger, more vibrant affair.

This time, the scope went beyond software alone. We embraced hardware and content creation gear, infusing a dynamic mix of innovation and creativity into the event. From cutting-edge technologies to immersive experiences, DAW Fest was a celebration of all things audio-visual.

The pandemic taught us valuable lessons, reminding us of the boundless creativity that can flourish within the confines of home. Whether it’s crafting music, producing social media content, or launching a podcast, the possibilities are endless.

Moreover, DAW Fest, in collaboration with IMSTA, took a stand against piracy, advocating for the use of legitimate software to combat this pervasive issue.
