  • Graindad offers real-time sound manipulation with up to 64 grains and 12 parameters for granular synthesis. It features two modulation systems: classical (sequencers, LFOs, envelopes) and the Harvester for visual control. Randomization options include triggered randomization on audio transients.

    The Grain Engine enables audio manipulation like looping, stuttering, time stretching, pitch shifting, reversing, and harmonizing. Recording syncs to the host clock or can be MIDI-triggered.

    The Modulation Engine includes envelope, LFO, step sequencer, Harvester, randomizers, and MIDI notes. The Modmix Control blends Harvester and Main Page modulation. Effects include filters, reverbs (HQ, spring, shimmer), and delays (various types, flanger, chorus) with dry/wet controls.

    The Harvester modulates all 12 main controls simultaneously. “Moons” on parameter objects can be recorded or randomized for added motion. The Auto-Pilot Page allows Harvester movement between 12 breakpoints, MIDI-triggerable for performance control.

Graindad's Grain Engine allows users to shape audio in real-time by controlling up to 64 grains simultaneously. With 12 main parameters, users can manipulate audio with precision, enabling effects such as freezing, stuttering, glitching, and texturizing. The Multiband transient detector ensures accurate control over transient events, while host sync and transient clock synchronization facilitate seamless integration with external systems.

Innovative modulation system

Graindad introduces the Harvester modulation system, providing a visually intuitive method to control multiple parameters simultaneously. Users can combine classical modulation methods with the Harvester for intricate outcomes. With randomization options for modulation sources and parameter control, along with Modmix Control for blending modulation types, Graindad offers a platform for limitless sonic exploration and creative expression.
